Here at The Best Connection we are looking for a Depot Operative for our client in the Mortimer area. Your role will be to assist in maintaining efficient operations at the depot while prioritizing site safety.

Hours of work: 

• 07:00 - 17:00 (one hour unpaid break)
• Monday to Friday.
• 45 hours a week. 

Rate of pay: 

• £13.00 p/hr 

Responsibilities of a Depot Operative:

• ​Operate and monitor the bagging plant for efficient production.
• Transport and organize aggregates across the depot.
• Support team members with daily operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.

Requirements of a Depot Operative:

• Strong communication skills.
• Positive 'can do' attitude. 
• Strong work ethic.
• Experience with Telescopic Handlers or Forklift Trucks is beneficial but not required.
• Will have to pass the drug and alcohol testing before starting work. 
• Some previous experience in a similar job role.
