The Best Connection are working closely with our international client to source additional Van (Cat B) Delivery Drivers for their Stockton office.

Please note that the positions will be available on an ad-hoc as well as long term basis.

The role:

• Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base) 
• Vehicle provided 
• Use of a scanning device (training given)
• Parcel delivery and collection
• The work is multi-drop of around 40 deliveries / collections per day across the North area
• Some heavy lifting
• Deliveries to business and domestic customers

The candidate:

• "B" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
• Minimum of 12 months delivery driving experience
• 5 years of check-able work history
• A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates
• Excellent customer service skills

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday (weekend over time as required)
• 08.00 am to 17.00 pm (delivery dependant)

Pay Rates:

• Up to £20.13 per hour after 45 hours per week
• Basic of £13.42 per hour up to 45 hours per week (plus holiday pay!)
