Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join a busy sheet metal production team. This role involves supporting production activities, maintaining a safe working environment, and assisting with machinery and general workshop duties.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 16:30

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, with potential for overtime at enhanced rates

This position may lead to a full-time, permanent opportunity following a successful trial period.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience operating a brake press is desirable
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to adapt to different production tasks

Responsibilities

• Assisting with general production duties in the sheet metal workshop
• Operating machinery, including the brake press where applicable
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all company procedures and health & safety guidelines
