We are looking for an Customer Care Assistant in Newhaven to assist out client. 

You will be required to work in a small and dedicated Customer Care Team, supporting the team in their day-to-day operations and handling customer queries and issues with a polite and positive attitude.  

Daily roles and responsibilities: 

Responding quickly and positively to customer enquiries, by telephone or email, always following up and exceeding customer expectations  

• Processing customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently  

• Liaising with the customer to confirm availability, pricing, shipping details etc to ensure that their needs are met and exceeded  

• Collaborating internally with other departments regarding credit, stock, production lead times, shipping  

• Taking credit card payments  

• Raising proforma invoices  

• Calculating freight costs  

• Promptly communicating any changes to orders, both internally and externally: keeping customers fully updated with the progress of their orders. 

• Working closely with our UK and International Business Development Managers to help to win new business, grow existing business and maximise profitability  

• Updating Sales Force CRM system with customer communications and information.  

• Ensuring correct pricing information and customer details are logged on Syspro ERP system.  

• Covering main reception desk if required  

• Supporting the team with general administrative duties

For this position you will need: 

Right to work in the UK. 

Experience is not required. 

Access to a device to complete an online application. 

Monday to Friday // 08:00 – 17:00 // £11.79 per hour // £23,000 - £25,000 P/A
