Job Title: Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Salary: £13.96 per hour

Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 4 on / 4 off rota

Location: Hortonwood

Contract: Temp-to-Perm (T2P)

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our busy food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will operate forklifts safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene. This role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products
• Load and unload deliveries safely
• Line feeding and transfers within warehouse or production areas
• Maintain accurate stock records
• Adhere to health & safety and food hygiene standards
• Support smooth production flow

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in manufacturing or food production
• Confident using hand-held scanners and SAP systems
• Minimum 2 years recent experience with a forklift counterbalance licence
• Relevant forklift certification counterbalance - valid and in-date
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Ability to provide references
