FLT Driver - Newton Aycliffe (Temp to Perm)

Are you an experienced B1 FLT driver looking for a new opportunity with long-term potential? Do you want play a key role in material handling operations onsite as my clients FLT Driver, if so this is great opportunity.

Job Overview:

• Operate B2 Counterbalance FLT trucks with rotators (B1 holders welcome - my client will upgrade your licence!)
• Collect, grade, and load scrap materials from multiple points across our site
• Transport scrap between plants using public roads (full UK driving licence required)

Shift Pattern (40 hours/week):

• 2 weeks: Days - 7am to 3pm
• 1 week: Nights - 11pm to 7am
• 1 week: Backshift - 3pm to 11pm
• Then cycle repeats

Pay & Benefits:

• £13.77/hour for all standard hours
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• 2-3 weeks comprehensive training provided before working independently
• Overtime and weekend rates to be discussed when overtime can be offered.

Requirements:

• Valid FLT licence (B1 or B2 - we'll train and convert if needed)
• Full UK driving licence (essential for road travel between sites)
• Stores background would be advantageous
