The Best Connection are currently recruiting for experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a well-established client.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for long-term work, offering a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern and the potential to secure a permanent position.

🔧 About the Role

Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving and transporting stock around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles as required
• Supporting general warehouse operations
• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
• Carrying out routine vehicle safety checks
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

⏰ Working Hours

• 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern
• 06:00 - 18:00
• Temp to perm opportunity

💰 Pay

• £13.40 per hour PAYE
• Weekly PAYE pay
• Holiday pay
• Pension scheme

👷 What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous counterbalance forklift driving experience
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota
• Flexibility to support warehouse operations when required
