The Best Connection Newport is currently recruiting for an Experienced Cook to join a well-established kitchen in the NP15 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a Head Chef and Sous Chef in a professional and supportive environment.

The Role

You will support the kitchen team in preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, ensuring all food hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen duties
• Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
• Following all food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cooking or kitchen role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Own transport is essential due to the rural location

Working Hours

• Approximately 30 hours per week
• 08:30 - 16:30
• Alternate weekends required

Pay Rate

• £12.71 per hour
