The Best Connection are currently seeking Multiple Compound Drivers for our Sheerness based client.

The company itself specialises in the shunting of Brand new cars within a large compound. You will also be tasked with: Road testing the vehicles along a designated route, De-wrapping the vehicles, fuelling/charging vehicles and moving vehicles into loading lanes ready for collection.

Your typical day would involve commencing duties at 07:00am/08:00am and finishing around 17:00/17:30.

You will be tasked with successfully manoeuvring cars within a busy compound, following the clients instructions.

Please be aware that this isn't just a driving role. Candidates must possess a calm and meticulous attitude, as it is essential that cars are not damaged throughout the process of shunting. Candidates will be expected to complete rigorous inspections and vehicle checks, noting all scratches, scuffs and other damage, whilst taking every precaution necessary to ensure that vehicles remain undamaged throughout the manoeuvring process.


The pay rates are: Monday-Friday: £11.44 per hour

There is also the opportunity for work on Saturdays

Due to the large variety of cars the compound possesses, it is essential that candidates are comfortable operating both manual and automatic vehicles.

To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following:

- Driving Licence
- Good Communication Skills
- Calm and meticulous manner
- Held your licence for a minimum of 3 years

- No DD or DR Offences on Licence
