Hours of work & Pay rate for CNC Setter/Operator:
- Monday-Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 1.30pm
Main Duties for CNC Setter/Operator:
- To produce components in minimal possible time and to drawing requirements
- To achieve maximum usage of machine capabilities leaving a finished component requiring minimal manual finishing
- Prepare and maintain CNC machine to required specification and procedural guidelines
- Tool setting & changes – with training
- Operate CNC equipment to procedure and health and safety guidelines
- Drill & tap to drawing specification
- Visual inspection of parts to ensure quality standards are met
Preferred experience for CNC Setter/Operator:
- CNC machine experience
- Engineering background
- Conversant with engineering drawings
- Milling machine experience
