The Best Connection is currently looking for a CNC operator to work for a busy client of ours in the Chichester area.

The ideal candidates will have previous experience working with CNC machines before.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operate CNC machinery for wood cutting.
• Working with natural and engineered wood
• Conduct quality checks on materials prior to CNC processing.
• Be able to read and interpret furniture designs and technical drawings.

The basic requirements for this role are:

• Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery and systems.
• Ability to read paperwork and understand measurements.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Capable of lifting and moving wood panels and materials (around 20 kg)

During your initial starting period, you will be working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:30 with an early finish on a Friday!
