The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of one of our long-standing engineering clients.

We are currently looking to recruit a number of CNC Toothform Grinders and Precision Grinders to join a well-established and reputable engineering company.

🔍 About the Role

You may already have experience within a similar engineering environment; however, industry-specific experience is not essential. If you have the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a solid engineering background, full training can be provided.

✅ Key Requirements

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• Previous experience within a steel-based engineering or manufacturing environment

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Experience as a CNC or precision grinder is advantageous but not essential

⏰ Shifts & Working Hours

• Initial training period:
  Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 (first couple of weeks)

• Ongoing shifts:
  Rotating 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
  No weekend working

💷 Pay & Progression

• Pay is based on a skill matrix, depending on experience and competency

• Pay rate range: £12.76 - £16.22 per hour

• Typical starting rate: £12.76 per hour (higher rates available for candidates with prior relevant experience)
