The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator (Milling) for our client based in Atherstone. This is a long-term opportunity within a well-established engineering environment, offering great hours and weekly pay.

Hours, Days & Pay

• 4-day working week - 39 hours

• Monday - Wednesday: 06:00 - 16:00

• Thursday: 06:00 - 15:00

• £18.00 per hour

• Free onsite parking

Job Overview

You will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming universal bed-type CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls, machining a range of materials to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines

• Online programming using Heidenhain control systems.

• Working with universal milling heads

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Machining components to tight tolerances

• Completing your own quality inspections.

• Safe use of overhead cranes.

Skills & Experience Required

✔ Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator (Milling)
✔ Strong experience with Heidenhain controls.
✔ Background machining medium to large fabrications and castings.
✔ High attention to detail and quality standards
