Location: Tamworth
Pay: £12.84 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 14:00 - 19:00
Contract: Part-time (25 hours per week)

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join a well-established business in Tamworth. This Cleaner role is key to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment across office and communal areas. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Cleaner who can work independently and take pride in high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning office corridors across two levels (mopping floors, wiping doors and touchpoints)
• Cleaning stairwells, including glass panels
• Hoovering carpeted office areas
• Cleaning offices and meeting rooms, including clearing after meetings
• Emptying office and food waste bins
• Cleaning and disinfecting toilet and washroom facilities
• Cleaning and maintaining canteen areas, including appliances and surfaces
• Buffering wooden floors in reception, offices, and corridors
• Reporting maintenance issues or health & safety risks
• Restocking and ordering cleaning supplies
• Carrying out minor maintenance tasks where required
• Maintaining compliance with MSDS and hygiene regulations
• Occasional cover for morning cleaning duties

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year cleaning experience (office, domestic, or industrial)
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe usage
• Understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards within the cleaning industry
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Physically able to carry equipment, bend, stretch, and use stairs
• Trustworthy and reliable (out-of-hours work environment)
• Cleaning qualification (e.g. BICSc) desirable
