Cleaner
Location: Tamworth
Pay: £12.84 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 14:00 - 19:00
Contract: Part-time (25 hours per week)
The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join a well-established business in Tamworth. This Cleaner role is key to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment across office and communal areas. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Cleaner who can work independently and take pride in high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning office corridors across two levels (mopping floors, wiping doors and touchpoints)
- Cleaning stairwells, including glass panels
- Hoovering carpeted office areas
- Cleaning offices and meeting rooms, including clearing after meetings
- Emptying office and food waste bins
- Cleaning and disinfecting toilet and washroom facilities
- Cleaning and maintaining canteen areas, including appliances and surfaces
- Buffering wooden floors in reception, offices, and corridors
- Reporting maintenance issues or health & safety risks
- Restocking and ordering cleaning supplies
- Carrying out minor maintenance tasks where required
- Maintaining compliance with MSDS and hygiene regulations
- Occasional cover for morning cleaning duties
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year cleaning experience (office, domestic, or industrial)
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe usage
- Understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards within the cleaning industry
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Physically able to carry equipment, bend, stretch, and use stairs
- Trustworthy and reliable (out-of-hours work environment)
- Cleaning qualification (e.g. BICSc) desirable
