The Best Connection is recruiting for Class 2 drivers on a temp-to-perm basis. Based in Stockport!

Schedule & Pay:

• Schedule: Three-week shift pattern (Includes Saturday)
  • Week 1: 6 days
  • Week 2: 5 days
  • Week 3: 4 days
  • 2 days off in the week every 3 weeks
• Start time: 2:30 am
• Salary: £37,360 per year (salary fixed; weekly hours may vary)
• 48 hours per week (no overtime rate)
• Bank holidays: Time and a half
• Attendance bonus: Incentive bonus of £1,000 per year (about £19.83/week), paid if you attend every scheduled shift. If you're off sick, that day is deducted from the bonus rather than the whole bonus being removed.

Role & Duties:

• Location: UK-wide deliveries
• Vehicle: Dual temp or single temp trucks; multi-drop loads
• Load type: Ambient, frozen, and refrigerated foods
• Deliveries: Restaurants, pubs, care homes, and supermarkets
• Lifting: Heavy lifting required (drivers load their own vehicles)

What we're looking for:

• Valid UK C Cat C (Class 2) driving licence
• CPC qualification
• Experience with multi-drop routes and temperature-controlled loads is desirable
• Good manual handling ability and fitness for lifting
• Reliable, punctual, and with a professional attitude
• Willingness to work early starts and weekend shifts as part of the pattern
