Class 2 RoRo Driver

Location: Barnsley

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Times and Days of Work: Monday to Friday (start times to be confirmed)

The Best Connection is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 2 RoRo Driver to join a well-established scaffolding company based in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for ongoing work with a reputable business. Full RoRo training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for drivers looking to develop their skills and gain experience with specialist equipment.

About the Role

As a Class 2 RoRo Driver, you will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of skips and waste containers to and from customer sites. Working closely with the operations team, you will ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Your Duties Will Include:

• Operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and professionally
• Delivering and collecting RoRo containers from customer sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Completing all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
• Adhering to company health and safety procedures
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience is essential
• RoRo experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
