Class 2 Driver - Waste Collection (Commercial & Domestic)

Location: (near Penrith)

Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)

Rate:

£15.37 per hour

Weekend Sat: £23.55 - £27.00

Overtime after 8 hours: £23.55

Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (initial 3 months)

Job Description:

We are recruiting a Class 2 Driver for commercial and domestic waste collection. This is a temp-to-perm role, based near penrith.

The initial assignment is expected to last around 3 months while one of of our clients drivers are seconded into the office. If the role works well for both parties, there's potential for it to become permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Collection of commercial and domestic waste
• Ensuring safe and timely deliveries
• Following health & safety procedures and company guidelines
• Occasional weekend work may be required

Requirements:

• Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Experience in waste collection preferred, but not essential
• Professional attitude and good communication skills
• Reliability and commitment to the role
