The Best Connection are currently looking for a Class 2 HIAB driver to fill their clients ad hoc bookings.

You will be tasked with the delivery of the delivery of building materials with the use of the lorry loader crane. This is all going to be around the South East corner. This could be from either a Grab loader or by a Hook, so experience in both would be beneficial. 

Some customer facing is required, so some experience in this would be necessary as you would be representing the company.

This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturdays. 07:00 start times.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Hiab Driver

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
• Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class 2 Hiab Driver

• Category C Licence
• Class 2 Driving experience
• Current and in date CPC & Digicard
• Verifiable references
• Live load driving experience
• Grab and Hook experience

Compensation of the Class 2 Hiab HGV Driver
The starting salary for this position is £18.00 hourly PAYE
