WE ARE LOOKING FOR CLASS 2 DRIVER WITH EXPERIENCE IN PLANT AND TOOLS INDUSTRY? ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ONGOING TEMP TO PERM WORK?
Our client based in Watford, is looking to strengthen their team. They are looking for Class 2 drivers to help assist the operational needs of the business delivering a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small power tools. Permanent role will be offered to the suitable candidate. Candidate must have minimum 3-6 months experience in the plant industry.
Main duties will include:
- Single manned deliveries of the products to clients and customers
- Delivering, collecting plant equipment to and from customers sites, ensuring customers sign relevant delivery and collection paperwork.
- Ensuring your load is safe and secure, with vehicle checks completed
- Positive manner as delivering to clients and customers
- Inspecting machinery upon collection, carefully recording any defects or missing items on our paperwork.
- Products delivered could be: diggers, dumpers and small power tools etc
- Experience in towing trailers is essential
Shifts:
- Start times from 07:30 – 16:30 (potential overtime)
- Monday to Friday
Hourly pay Rates:
- Pay rate: £17.78 hour PAYE
- Full time permanent salary of £37,000
