The Best Connection are currently seeking a qualified Class 2 HGV driver for a role based in Shrewsbury. 

As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods across the local area in a safe and timely manner, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and compliance with all relevant road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to deliver goods across the region
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and as per customer requirements
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues or defects
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tachograph logs and delivery notes
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, as well as road traffic laws

Key Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 2 HGV licence (C)
• Current CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Class 2 driver (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle regulations
• A flexible approach to working hours
