Are you a Class 2 Driver looking for a varied role with excellent long-term prospects and full paid training?

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established wet waste and septic tank servicing company based in Penrith. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a great working environment, supportive team culture, and the opportunity to develop specialist industry skills.

No ADR licence is required, and full paid training will be provided.

The Role

Working throughout Cumbria and Southern Scotland, you will be responsible for servicing both domestic and commercial properties, collecting and transporting wet waste from septic tanks, cesspits, treatment plants, and associated systems.

This is a hands-on role that involves operating specialist equipment and handling heavy suction hoses, making it ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 tanker vehicle to customer sites
• Servicing septic tanks, cesspits, and wastewater systems
• Visiting domestic properties and commercial sites across the region
• Operating pumps, tankers, and suction equipment
• Handling heavy hoses and equipment
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused

Pay & Benefits

• £17.00 per hour for the first 9.5 hours worked per day
• Overtime paid at £24.65 per hour
• Saturday rate: £25.50 per hour
• Sunday rate: £27.20 per hour
• Bank Holiday rate: £32.30 per hour
