The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Bowburn, who are a large and well established flooring company who are looking for class 2 driver.

This is a multi-drop role working in local areas with a typical day consisting of 10-20 deliveries with some manual handling involved.

Our drivers key responsibilities:

• To deliver the highest standard of service and be a brand ambassador for the business.
• Provide an efficient and 'First in Class' delivery service to our customers.
• Drive safely, obeying the rules of the road and following the correct Flooring superstore procedures
• To always adhere to the Flooring superstores Health & Safety Policies and procedures.
• To contribute effectively in our team environment.
• Complete a daily vehicle and equipment pre-trip and post trip check using our Defect reporting processes and systems.
• Ensure all customer delivery details are captured accurately via use of the PDA system.

Ideally you will have:

• A great customer focus with a flexible and adaptable approach to deliver outstanding results
• A fully adaptable approach to work
• The ability to use your own initiative to ensure the customer receives their goods in a safe and timely manner
• Category C licence (maximum 6 points)
• Experience of working in a multi-drop environment.
• 2 years commercial driving experience

his is offered on a PAYE basis, at the following rates:

• £13.75 per hour for the first 8 hours daily
• £20.63 per hour after 8 hours daily
