Class 2 Driver Wanted - Multi-Drop Deliveries | Weekly Pay Location: Eastbourne

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a new opportunity with excellent work-life balance? The Best Connection Eastbourne is actively recruiting a Class 2 Driver for our well-established client. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver seeking stable work, varied deliveries, and the potential for a long-term position.

What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for:

• Delivering windows, plastic, aluminium and glass products to businesses across the South East
• Completing an average of 4-7 drops per day
• Driving a Class 2 (12-tonne box vehicle)
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and comprehensive vehicle checks
• Using company devices to follow planned routes, scan deliveries and obtain PODs
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Driving safely and complying with all transport regulations
• Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations at all times
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

(Please note: your role may not be limited to these tasks)

What you'll need & what you'll get Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
• Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• Ability to follow planned routes using company devices and obtain PODs
• Strong attention to detail and health & safety practices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
