HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER - WEYBRIDGE

£39,000 SALARY + OVERTIME | TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY

The Best Connection (Staines) are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for an established logistics operation based in Weybridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for a £39,000 annual salary, with overtime paid on top, and the potential to secure a Temp to Perm position.

THE PACKAGE

• £39,000 annual salary - excluding overtime
• Standard rate: £15.00 per hour
• Overtime: £22.50 per hour (Time & Half)
• Overtime paid after 10 hours
• If working a 12-hour shift, overtime is paid after 8 hours
• 50-hour standard working week
• 05:00 - 15:00 shifts
• 1-hour paid break
• Temp to Perm opportunity
• Ongoing, full-time work

THE ROLE

You will be driving a Class 2 vehicle to supermarkets across the allocated area, carrying out approximately 10-12 collections per day.

Your duties will include:

• Collecting coins/cash from machines at supermarkets.
• Safely securing and transporting collections.
• Returning collected coins to Dagenham for processing.
• Completing vehicle checks and following all relevant safety and security procedures.
• Communicating with the transport team throughout the day.

TRAINING & REQUIREMENTS

Full training is provided by internal driver trainers, making this an excellent opportunity for drivers looking to develop within a specialist logistics operation.

You will need:

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Cat C licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• Previous Class 2 experience desirable
• Reliable and professional approach
• Good communication skills
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences
