🚚 The Role

Working alongside a Driver's Mate, you'll travel throughout the UK delivering products directly into customers' homes.

💪 This is a physically demanding role and involves:

✔ Heavy lifting

✔ Customer interaction

✔ Teamwork

✔ Delivering outstanding service

📋 Key Duties

🚛 Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle nationwide

📦 Assisting with unloading deliveries alongside your Driver's Mate

😊 Providing excellent customer service at every stop

✅ Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance

📱 Using handheld scanners and delivery paperwork accurately

🔧 Reporting defects, delays, breakdowns or issues promptly

✨ Keeping vehicles clean and presentable

📞 Maintaining regular communication with the transport team

🌙 Staying away overnight Thursday to Saturday when required

🎓 Training & Induction

Week 1 Schedule

📅 Monday - Assessment

📅 Tuesday - Thursday - Driver Training & Induction

📅 Friday - Local Work Available

✅ Full-time tramping duties begin the following Thursday.

🛏 During Training

Drivers can stay overnight on-site in a vehicle within the client's secure yard and receive:

💸 £25.00 Night Out Allowance per night

🎒 Please bring: ✔ Bedding

✔ Toiletries

✔ Overnight Essentials

🏨 Overnight Accommodation Options

You can choose to:

🚛 Sleep in the cab with your Driver's Mate

OR

🏨 Stay in a pre-paid hotel room

💸 Drivers choosing the hotel option will receive a £25.00 Night Out Allowance per night.

✔ Essential Requirements

🚛 Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence

📜 Valid Driver CPC

💳 Valid Digital Tachograph Card

🚦 No more than 6 penalty points

💬 Good communication skills

⭐ Professional and reliable attitude

📅 Flexibility for weekend work and overnight stays

🤝 Ability to work as part of a two-person team

💪 Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting

✔ 12+ months Class 2 driving experience
