The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for an experienced Class 2 Tanker Driver based in Aylesbury.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and professional Class 2 driver looking for a long-term position. Immediate starts are available.

Pay & Hours

• £19.13 per hour
• Overtime: £28.70 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• Full-time, ongoing work
• Overnight stays may be required
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Immediate start available

The Role

As a Class 2 Tanker Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering products and services to customers safely and on time.
• Working as part of the tanker team to complete customer service calls.
• Following planned routes and movement orders.
• Ensuring vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.
• Optimising loading and unloading times to ensure all work is completed within schedule.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
• Following all relevant health, safety and company procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience - essential.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous tanker or waste management experience is preferred but not essential.
• Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
• Flexibility to complete occasional overnight stays when required.
