HGV Class 2 Driver - Cramlington - Temp to Perm Opportunity

The Best Connection are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to work with our client based in Cramlington. This is a great temp to perm opportunity for drivers looking for long-term, stable work with a well-established company. The role involves delivering building materials to sites - no manual loading or unloading required, as stock is handled for you.

The Role:

• Start time: 07:00, Monday to Friday.
• Deliver building materials safely to construction sites.
• Use of straps and ratchets to secure loads.
• Stock is loaded and offloaded for you - minimal manual handling.
• Customer-facing role - professionalism and good communication are essential.
• Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

The Candidate:

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card.
• 2 years commercial driving experience
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.

Hours of Work & Pay:

• Monday to Friday - 07:00 starts.
• £14.00 per hour.
• £21.00 per hour after 8 hours.
• Weekly pay.
