The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (HGV C) Driver to support our client in Washington, one of the UK's leading paper suppliers.

This is an ad hoc / temporary position, ideal for drivers looking for flexible work, covering shifts as and when required (e.g. holidays, sickness, and increased demand).

The Role:

• Completing local deliveries of paper products to commercial customers
• Driving a Class 2 vehicle (HGV C)
• Working from preloaded vehicles and pre-planned routes
• Using a PDA scanner to confirm deliveries
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

Working Pattern:

• Ad hoc shifts
• Typically Monday to Friday
• Start time: 06:30am
• Ideal for drivers seeking flexibility or additional income

Pay:

• £14.00 per hour (PAYE)

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous driving experience preferred
• Flexible and reliable with short-notice availability
