Class 2 Driver (HGV 2) - Temporary Cover (Long-Term Sick Leave)

Location: Walsall

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour | £22.50 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (HGV 2) Driver to provide temporary cover for a long-term sickness absence. You will be working with a leading UK metal stockist based in Walsall.

The Role

• Monday to Friday work (3-5 days per week depending on workload)
• Start times between 05:00 - 07:00
• Nationwide deliveries
• Operating flatbed/dropside vehicles
• Securing loads using ratchet straps and sheeting

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Previous experience with metal/steel deliveries
• Confident in load securing on flatbed vehicles
• Comfortable driving both manual and automatic gearbox HGVs
