Job Title: HGV Class 2 / Category C Driver

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday

Job Type: Relief Cover with Further Assignments Available

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a leading national building materials distributor. This role involves delivering pipeline, heating and plumbing supplies to commercial sites and trade customers, with further driving assignments available after the relief cover ends.

The Role:

• Delivering building and plumbing materials to trade and commercial customers.
• Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Unloading goods using manual handling techniques, tail lifts or pump trucks.
• Providing professional and friendly customer service.

The Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome.
• Reliable, flexible and customer-focused approach.
• Good communication skills and professional appearance.
• Physically fit for manual handling and delivery duties.

Hours and Pay:

• Monday to Friday day shifts.
• £15.00 per hour.
• Minimum of 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
• No weekend, Bank Holiday or overnight shifts on this assignment.
