Class 2 Driver - Accrington (Temp to Perm)

£12.75 per hour | Premium Rates | Minimum 6 Months Experience Required

We are currently recruiting a Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a temp to perm position based in Accrington, offering consistent work and a clear route to a permanent role.

Pay & Benefits

• £12.75 per hour
• £25.50 per hour (double time) for:
  • Sundays
  • Bank Holidays
  • Any hours worked between 00:00 - 04:00 (unsociable hours)
• £30 night out allowance

Contract

• Temp to Perm - 14 weeks
• Opportunity to move onto a permanent contract after 14 weeks

Job Details

• Class 2 driving work
• Mixture of local and regional deliveries
• Heavy involvement in loading and unloading (handball required)
• Physically demanding role
• Potential for night out work
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and efficiently
• Completing PODs and paperwork accurately

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Comfortable with heavy manual handling (handball)
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD
• Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
