Class 2 Driver - Temporary to Permanent - L5 (Liverpool)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Location: L5 depot, delivering across the North West

Pay: £15/hr PAYE - holidays accrued in separate pot for paid time off!

Minimum Pay: 8 hours paid per day guaranteed

About the Role

We're recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a busy food distribution business in the L5 area. You'll be delivering palletised food products to shops, restaurants, and a range of hospitality customers across the North West.

This role involves regular heavy lifting and manual handling, as well as delivering kerbside and navigating tight residential streets. You'll be accompanied by a porter who assists with loading and unloading at every drop.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-drop Class 2 deliveries across the North West
• Kerbside drops using pump trucks
• Navigating narrow streets and residential areas
• Heavy lifting and safe manual handling
• Working alongside a porter for unloading and product movement
• Representing the business professionally at each customer stop

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• No minimum licence period required
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential
• Good geographical knowledge of the North West is beneficial
• Comfortable with heavy manual work
• Reliable, customer-focused, and safety-minded
