Class 2 Driver - £14.00 per hour - Adhoc Sickness & Holiday Cover - 08:00 Starts - Altham & Surrounding Areas

We're recruiting hardworking Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for adhoc sickness and holiday cover across Altham and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for drivers who don't mind physical work and enjoy a varied day.

Pay & Hours

• £14.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Typical start time: 08:00
• Shifts generally between 8-12 hours
• Weekly pay
• Regular adhoc opportunities throughout the year

The Work

This is a multidrop Class 2 role involving:

• Delivering to multiple customer sites
• Handball involved (loading/unloading where required)
• Face‑to‑face customer interaction
• Use of pump trucks and tail lifts (where applicable)
• Supporting busy day operations with varying routes

Every shift offers something different, with a mix of planned deliveries and reactive tasks depending on client needs.

Requirements

To apply, you must have:

• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 (C) experience
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
• Confidence with multidrop work and manual handling
• Good knowledge of WTD & driver hours
• A reliable, professional approach
• Minor points considered
