Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver

Location: Washington

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-known and established building supplies company based in Washington. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Class 2 (Category C) HIAB driver to support increased demand.

This is an ongoing assignment offering consistent work and competitive pay.

The Role:

• Multidrop delivery of building materials
• Local North East routes
• Vehicle pre-loaded
• Support provided by a driver's mate
• Use of HIAB crane for deliveries

Hours of Work:

• 7:00am starts until finish
• 7-day operation - may include weekend work

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• £15.76 per hour - Monday to Friday (first 8 hours)
• £23.64 per hour - Monday to Friday (after 8 hours)
• £23.64 per hour - Saturday (all hours)
• £31.52 per hour - Sunday (all hours)
• £31.52 per hour - Bank Holidays (all hours)

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• HIAB/ALMI C5+E / AITT / RTITB certification
• Brick grab experience essential
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of tachograph regulations
