Class 1 HGV Driver (Wag & Drag) - Norwich (NR6) - Temp to Perm

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Norwich NR6. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with wagon and drag experience looking for ongoing work with the potential of a permanent position.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• £15.50 per hour - Standard Rate
• £23.25 per hour - Overtime (after 40 hours)
• £31.00 per hour - Sundays
• Pay review in April

Start Times: From 02:00 AM

Location: Norwich - NR6

Contract: Temp to Perm Opportunity

Payment Type: PAYE Only

Job Role

• Driving Class 1 Wag & Drag vehicles
• Delivering window frames
• No handball required
• Early morning starts from 02:00
• Nationwide deliveries and collections
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road transport regulations
• Work may involve occasional nights out

Working Pattern

• Work may be required across all 7 days (subject to driver hours regulations)
• Ongoing work available

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Wag & Drag experience preferred
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
