The Best Connection Group - Manchester is actively recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for our well-established client based in Eccles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading company during a busy period, offering stable work, great pay, and modern equipment.
Pay Rates
- £17.00 per hour - first 10 hours (Monday to Friday)
- £19.00 per hour - after 10 hours daily
- £30.00 per night out
- Early starts from 05:00
The Role
- Depot-to-depot trunking (no store deliveries)
- Minimal handball
- Tramping role - 5 days per week with 4 nights out
- Well equipped sleeper cabs
- Consistent, ongoing work with a professional logistics operation
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- (Due to insurance: must be aged 25+ with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience)
- Digital Tachograph card
- Driver CPC qualification
- Happy to stay out 4 nights per week
- Good knowledge of driver hours / working time regulations
- Strong understanding of the UK motorway network
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- 2 years' check-able work history
