Class 1 Tramper Driver

The Best Connection are recruiting are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team.

This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with all transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for long-distance deliveries and collections.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are safely secured and transported in compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Liaise with transport planners, customers, and site personnel.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements

✅ Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence

✅ Minimum 6 months' Class 1 experience

✅ Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

✅ Maximum 6 penalty points

✅ No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements

✅ Good communication skills and a professional attitude

✅ Willingness to work away from home during the week (tramping)
