🚛 Weekend Class 1 Shunter Driver - Scunthorpe 🚛

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Weekend Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver to join a busy operation in Scunthorpe.

🕕 Working Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Weekends)

⚠️ This is not just an onsite shunting role. Drivers will be responsible for moving trailers between the factory and logistics facility, requiring a short journey on a public road of approximately 5 minutes.

Pay Rates

💷 Saturday: £19.00 per hour (Flat Rate)

💷 Sunday: £22.00 per hour (Flat Rate)

Requirements

✅ Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence

✅ Valid Driver CPC

✅ Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card

✅ Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience

✅ No CU, DR or DD endorsements on licence

✅ Reliable and professional approach to work

✅ Commitment to safe working practices

Duties

• Shunting trailers between factory and logistics operations
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers
• Completing vehicle checks
• Adhering to site and road safety procedures
• Short-distance road driving between locations
