The Best Connection Walsall are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Night Shunter on a temp to perm basis for a busy site in Lichfield.

Shift & Pay Details:

• 🕕 4 on / 4 off
• 🌙 Night shift: 18:00 - 06:00
• 🔄 Temp to perm opportunity
• 17.11 an hour

Job Role:

• Yard shunting, typically 15-20 trailer movements per shift
• Carrying out additional duties between movements, including:
  • Trailer washing
  • Yard and general housekeeping tasks
• Working as part of a night operations team to ensure smooth yard operations

Requirements:

• 🚛 Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• 📅 Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
• 🅿️ Shunting experience preferred but not essential - full training provided
• 🧾 No more than 6 points on licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card required
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to carry out varied duties
