Class 1 Night Driver - Accrington - £16.50 per Hour

We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver on behalf of our client based in Accrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for regular, ongoing work with a well-established client.

The Role

• Based in Accrington
• Night shifts with start times between 18:00 and 19:00
• Average shift length of approximately 10 hours
• Trunk runs to Haydock and back
• Little to no handball involved
• Ongoing weekly work confirmed by the client
• Immediate starts available for the right candidate

Pay

• £16.50 per hour

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Reliable, professional, and able to represent the client to a high standard

This position is ideal for drivers who prefer straightforward trunking work with minimal physical duties and the security of consistent weekly shifts.
