The Best Connection Eastbourne is actively recruiting Class 1 (Cat C+E) Night Drivers to support a well-established transport client with trunking operations to regional distribution hubs. If you're seeking stability, regular weekday work, and the potential for a permanent role, this opportunity is for you.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

• Trunking to and from national distribution hubs.
• Collecting and exchanging trailers as required.
• Ensuring the safe and secure transport of goods.
• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Accurately completing paperwork and driver records.
• Adhering to all road safety, driver hours, and working time regulations.
• Communicating with transport teams and hub staff regarding any delays or issues.

(Please note: your role may not be limited to these tasks)

What you'll need & what you'll get

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months recent Class 1 experience preferred.
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations and driver hours rules.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent timekeeping.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
