The Best Connection Eastbourne is actively recruiting Class 1 (Cat C+E) Low Loader Drivers to join a trusted partner. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of heavy plant machinery and equipment to various sites across the region. If you're seeking stability, flexibility, and the potential for a permanent role, this opportunity is for you.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

· Operating a Class 1 low loader vehicle to transport plant and machinery.

· Loading and securing equipment safely using appropriate restraints.

· Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.

· Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed on time.

· Completing relevant paperwork and adhering to transport regulations.

· Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.

(Please note: your role may not be limited to these tasks)

What you'll need & what you'll get

Requirements:

· Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.

· Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· Proven experience operating low loader vehicles.

· Good knowledge of load securing procedures.

· Strong awareness of road safety and transport regulations.

· Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights or weekends.

· Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
