The Best Connection Group Ltd is currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our client's busy logistics operation based in Crewe and Nantwich.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for ongoing work, competitive pay rates, and flexible shift patterns in the Cheshire area.

Class 1 Driver Responsibilities

As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently across designated routes.
• Ensuring all goods are transported securely and in line with company procedures.
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and transport documentation.
• Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Adhering to all road transport legislation and driver hours regulations.
• Working a variety of shift patterns and start times to meet operational requirements.

Class 1 Driver Requirements

To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Driver role, you must have:

• A valid C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally at least 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.
• A strong commitment to road safety and customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of start times and shifts.

Pay Rates

• Days- £18.50 per hour
• Nights: £20.00 per hour
• 6th Shift Rate: £30.00 per hour
