The Best Connection West Bromwich are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 Low loader (C+E) HGV Driver to join our reputable client based in the heart of West Bromwich.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering plant equipment, on a low loader to building sites across the UK. Must be confident in loading +unloading and securing plant equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• 2-5 deliveries/collections per day nationwide
• Loading and unloading of plant equipment
• Start times between 04:00-06:00, Monday to Friday
• X1 night out per week
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Adhering to all health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations
• Completing regular vehicle checks
• Keeping vehicles in clean condition

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Low loader experience (preferred)
• Experience using straps/chains to secure loads (advantageous)

Pay & Benefits

• £18.00 per hour
• £27.00 per hour after 8 hours worked per day
• 28 days paid holiday (accrued)
