The Best Connection is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver to join a well-established transport and logistics business based in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver seeking consistent weekday work with regular start times.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

• Completing full pre- and post-vehicle checks
• Following delivery schedules and instructions accurately
• Completing trunking, pallet deliveries or general haulage work (depending on route)
• Communicating professionally with the transport office
• Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed correctly
• Adhering to all company and industry safety procedures

What We're Looking For

✔ Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) Licence
✔ Previous Class 1 driving experience
✔ No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
✔ Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
✔ Reliable, professional and punctual
✔ Comfortable with early morning starts
