The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with a respected client based in Newport. This role offers regular, ongoing work with consistent start times. You'll be part of a reliable transport operation, carrying out trunking runs to a Birmingham depot.

Key responsibilities:

• Operating a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle
• Completing trunking runs between Newport and a Birmingham depot
• Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
• Conducting pre-use vehicle checks and reporting any issues
• Completing relevant paperwork accurately
• Following all driver hours and road safety regulations
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times

What we're looking for:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous trunking experience preferred
• Good knowledge of driver regulations
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Good communication skills
