Class 1 HGV Driver - General Haulage
Clitheroe (Ad‑Hoc Sickness & Holiday Cover)

We are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers to support a reputable haulage client in the Clitheroe area. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible, ad‑hoc work to cover staff sickness and holiday periods.

The Role

• General haulage work
• Typical start times around 06:00
• Ad‑hoc shifts to cover holiday and sickness
• Additional shifts available depending on client requirements

Pay Rate

• £15.49 per hour

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid UK Driving Licence with Category CE
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of UK road networks
• Professional, reliable, and safety‑focused approach

Assessment Information

• A full‑day driving and induction assessment is required
• Assessment is paid upon completion of your first shift
