The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Durham, who are a large and well-established haulage company. They are looking for a class 1 driver to help them meet demands.

Due to planned growth and commitment, they are looking for a class 1 driver who can work day shift with optional nights out. Nights are also available.

The start times do vary pending destination however, this is usually 7am starts.

In this role you will be doing:

• A to B trunking
• Pre-loaded vehicles & pre-planned routes
• Strapping the load
• No handball involved
• Nights out optional
• Durham based

The class 1 driver role is offered on a PAYE basis, at the following rates:

• Monday to Friday £15.00 per hour
• Saturday £16.50 per hour
• Sunday £17.50 per hour
• £25.00 night out allowance
