Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Weekend Work | Gravesend

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Gravesend for weekend work

Job Role:

• Operating a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle within the waste industry
• Carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all loads comply with legal and environmental regulations
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Working in a customer-facing role, providing a professional service
• Adhering to all company health & safety policies and procedures
• Ensuring safe use and storage of all equipment and PPE

Hours & Pay:

• Saturdays: and Sundays 06:00 - 16:00
  • Pay Rates: £26.49ph for Saturday and Sunday

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience with bulk carriers and articulated vehicles (essential)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
