We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join our growing transport operation based in Loughborough. This role involves completing night-time trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries while ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently. As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting full loads from the Barrow-Upon-Soar distribution depot to various national locations. Your role involves delivering these goods using curtain sided vehicles, then returning to the depot with an empty trailer. There is no handball required in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Class 1 trunking and depot deliveries during night shifts
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Follow all driving regulations and working time directives
• Maintain accurate delivery and transport paperwork

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
